For the grand opening of the Brooklyn IKEA store, TH partnered with Deutsch and IKEA to fabricate, produce and install a quintessential New York City studio apartment, fully outfitted in over 150 IKEA furniture pieces and accents. The 400-square-foot pop-up travelled throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn – Union Square, Borough Hall, the Brooklyn Public Library and Cadman Plaza – garnering buzz and awareness over the course of four consecutive days leading up to the store’s opening. TH’s production team worked closely with IKEA’s designers to ensure all program elements met the brand’s display standards while seamlessly installing the structure overnight at each location. As a result, the store opening saw over $1 million in sales with attendance exceeding 30,000.
