LANDS’ END THE GETAWAY TOUR

To bring the Lands’ End custom fit experience to customers new and old, TH conceptualized, designed and produced a cross-country mobile tour, inspired by the comfort and style of the Lands’ End swimsuit collection. Coined “The Getaway Tour,” the mock beach house traveled to six cities—Atlanta, New York, Boston, Toronto, Chicago and Madison—over the course of four weeks, popping up in key high traffic locations and inviting consumers in for one-on-one consultations with Lands’ End Fit Experts, resulting in an 85% conversion rate from try-on to sale. Media partner, Glamour Magazine, provided a Glam-bassador at each stop who performed on-site styling for participants, showing them how to accessorize their new beach attire. A social photo booth using the dedicated hashtag #getawaytour encouraged guests to snap pics on-site and upload them to their social media channels, further extending the tour’s reach.
