Anomaly tapped TH to produce Converse’s New York “Made by You” exhibition, part of a global campaign celebrating the Chuck Taylor as the only shoe defined by its wearer. The exhibition included 200 portraits collected from around the world featuring intricate personal designs from everyday Chuck wearers as well as celebrity pairs from the likes of Andy Warhol, Patti Smith and Ron English. For the New York exhibition, Converse tasked TH to build 15 custom light boxes showcasing a selection of Chuck portraits. The light boxes were placed in the iconic Flatiron Plaza illuminating the area and offering an unmatched exhibition of the world’s quintessential shoe. The activation also invited consumers to figuratively step into the shoes of these unique Chuck lovers with a 360-degree virtual reality experience using Google Cardboard Goggles.
